Analogue October Records: Reviving Classics, Crafting Audiophile Experiences

In the heart of a digital age, Analogue October Records stands as a beacon for music purists and vinyl enthusiasts alike. Established in 2017 by visionary Craig Crane, our label was born from a passion for tangible music experiences and a desire to disconnect from the ephemeral nature of digital streaming. Analogue October Records is more than just a label; it’s the culmination of years of dedication to reviving the rich, warm sounds of vinyl records.

Quality, Quality & Quality

Our journey began with the groundbreaking reissue of Courtney Pine’s legendary debut from 1986, setting the stage for a series of high-end releases. At Analogue October, we believe in the art of music, prioritizing quality over quantity. Our titles are meticulously mastered by Caspar Sutton-Jones at Gearbox Records, using a revered all-analogue pipeline that includes a 1967 Haeco Scully disc cutting lathe, bespoke valve mastering EQs, and iconic compressors like the Telefunken U73b.

Our dedication to authenticity extends to our pressing process, with lacquers cut at Gearbox sent to Optimal Media in Germany for 180 gram Audiophile Vinyl pressing.

Local craftsmanship is at the heart of our operation, with sleeves designed and printed at Selsey Press in Chichester, ensuring that our products are as visually stunning as they are sonically.

At Analogue October Records, we’re not just releasing music; we’re restoring and celebrating the legacy of overlooked classics. Our meticulous evaluation system, featuring cutting-edge cartridges from DS-AUDIO (Japan), DS-EQ’s from EMMLabs (Canada) and turntables from Origin Live (Southampton, U.K), ensures that each release surpasses the original in both quality and listening experience.

Join us on a journey back to the roots of music, where every note is felt, and every record tells a story. Analogue October Records is here to redefine your music collection, one vinyl at a time.
